This test covers covers volume forces applied to a beam with a non-planar surface (spline projection).

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 7 circular beam with splined end.

Load cases

  • LC1_vol_force_1_0_0: Volume force along direction +x

  • LC2_vol_force_0_1_0: Volume force along direction +y

  • LC3_vol_force_0_0_1: Volume force along direction +z

  • LC4_vol_force_1_0_1: Volume force along direction (1,0,1)

  • LC5_vol_force_1_1_1: Volume force along direction (1,1,1)

  • LC6_vol_force_1+1+1: Consecutive volume forces in each of the cartesian directions
