25. Acceleration on a beam with a non-planar surface

This test covers acceleration loads on a beam with a non-planar surface (spline projection).

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 7 circular beam with splined end.

Load cases

  • LC1_acceleration_1_0_0: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along x

  • LC2_acceleration_0_1_0: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along y

  • LC3_acceleration_0_0_1: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along z

  • LC4_acceleration_1_0_1: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along (1,0,1)

  • LC5_acceleration_1_1_1: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along (1,1,1)

  • LC6_acceleration_1+1+1: 3 body accelerations applied consecutively on the entire domain along each of the cartesian axes
