50. Roller boundary conditions on a rotated beam

This test covers roller boundary conditions applied to flat and cylindrical surfaces on a rotated beam.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 18 square beam with top cylindrical cavity rotated.

Load cases

  • LC1_roller_flat: Fixed beam with rollers on two lateral surfaces, with an orthogonal load at end of the beam

  • LC2_roller_cylinder: Fixed beam with a roller on its top cylinder and an axial moment at its top surface

  • LC3_no_rollers: LC1 without rollers
