17. Acceleration on an angled surface

This test covers acceleration loads applied on an beam with an angled surface.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 19 square beam with sloped end.

Load cases

  • LC1_acceleration_1_0_0: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along x

  • LC2_acceleration_0_1_0: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along y

  • LC3_acceleration_0_0_1: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along z

  • LC4_acceleration_1_0_1: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along (1,0,1)

  • LC5_acceleration_1_1_1: Body acceleration applied on the entire domain along (1,1,1)

  • LC6_acceleration_1+1+1: 3 body accelerations applied consecutively on the entire domain along each of the cartesian axes
