49. Roller boundary conditions

This test covers roller boundary conditions applied to flat and cylindrical surfaces.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 17 square beam with top cylindrical cavity.

Load cases

  • LC1_roller_flat: Fixed beam with rollers on the + and - Y surfaces, with an orthogonal load along +Z

  • LC2_roller_cylinder: Fixed beam with a roller on its top cylinder and an axial moment at its top surface

  • LC3_subspace_flat: LC1 with displacement boundary conditions only
