36. Coupled rotated beam and moments

This test covers beam to solid couplings and moments considering a beam not aligned with any of the cartesian axes.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 11 square beam rotated.

Load cases

  • LC1_moment_1_0_0: Moment on the coupling node around the x-axis

  • LC2_beam_moment_0_1_0: Moment on the coupling node around the y-axis

  • LC3_beam_moment_0_0_1: Moment on the coupling node around the z-axis

  • LC4_beam_moment_1_0_1: Moment on the coupling node around an (1,0,1) axis

  • LC5_beam_moment_1_1_1: Moment on the coupling node around an (1,1,1) axis

  • LC6_beam_moment_1+1+1: Consecutive moment applied on the coupling node around each of the cartesian axes
