This test covers couplings and boundary forces using a solid beam coupled to a single beam element.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 10 straight square beam.

Load cases

  • LC1_force_1_0_0: Force on the coupling node along x

  • LC2_force_0_1_0: Force on the coupling node along y

  • LC3_force_0_0_1: Force on the coupling node along z

  • LC4_force_1_0_1: Force on the coupling node along (1,0,1)

  • LC5_force_1_1_1: Force on the coupling node along (1,1,1)

  • LC6_force_1+1+1: 3 forces on the along each cartesian axis
