63. Stochastic Boundary force

This test covers stochastic boundary forces and ensures these types of boundary conditions are correctly applied to a solid beam.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 10 a square straight beam aligned with x-axis.

Load cases

  • LC1_sto_force_2d_normal_sd15_res10: stochastic force in [1,0,0], random_disk (2D planar) normal distribution with standard deviation 15 degrees, and 10 integration points

  • LC2_sto_force_2d_uniform_maxangle15_res10: stochastic force in [0,1,0], random disk (2D planar) uniform distribution with maximum angle 15 degrees, and 10 integration points

  • LC3_sto_force_3d_sd10_res4: stochastic force in [0,0,1], random_vector (3D cone) normal distribution with standard deviation 10 degrees, and 4^2 -4 + 1 = 13 integration points
