4. Boundary pressure

This test covers boundary pressure (specified along the 3 components) and ensures it is correctly applied to a solid beam. Global quantities, reaction forces and superposition are analysed.

Geometry and setup

This test uses geometry 10 square straight beam aligned with x-axis.

Load cases

  • LC1_pressure_1_0_0: single pressure, along (1,0,0)

  • LC2_pressure_0_1_0: single pressure, along (0,1,0)

  • LC3_pressure_0_0_1: single pressure, along (0,0,1)

  • LC4_pressure_1_0_1: single pressure, along (1,0,1)

  • LC5_pressure_1_1_1: single pressure, along (1,1,1)

  • LC6_pressure_1+1+1: three pressure conditions, along (1,0,0), (0,1,0), and (0,0,1)
